Personal Account of Himalayan HealthCare's Relief Efforts from Dr. David Johnson

Between May 12 and May 21, a team of Himalayan HealthCare volunteers, including our president, Dr. Robert McKersie, and past president, Dr. David Johnson, traveled to Nepal on a post-earthquake relief mission. In addition to carrying out a five-day medical camp in Lapa, where more than 800 patients were treated, the team surveyed the damage in Kathmandu and northern Dhading and documented Himalayan HealthCare's relief efforts. Below is Dr. Johnson’s personal account of his time in post-earthquake Nepal.
