Join us from 30th March to 15th April In Nepal for the LAST TIME in the northern Dhading region!!

Physicians, dentists, nurses, physician assisstants and mental health workers, as well as teachers, veterinarians, agricultural technicians and other volunteers–including family members–are invited to join this two-week trek in a remote region of the Himalayas to support and train local health providers to help them treat hundreds of villagers who have little to no access to regular health care. Trek dates are March 30 to April 15, 2018. Participants will be asked to arrive in Kathmandu no later than March 30 and depart no sooner than April 15, allowing ample time to adjust to the altitude and any potential changes to the trek itinerary. Trekkers will be supported by a team of medical and trek staff, including porters. Medical work will be empirical at best with little diagnostic support. The highest point on the trek will be approximately 13,000 feet, and trekkers will see some of the beautiful peaks of Nepal’s Ganesh Himal mountain range. As tents, luggage and other materials will be portered in, all you will need to carry with you is a day pack. The trek fee is $3,100 and does not include airfare to and from Nepal or hotel stay in Kathmandu. To apply, please submit an online application clicking here  Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. If you have questions concerning the application, please contact Anil Parajuli at [email protected] or Soni Parajuli at [email protected].You can also find more information on the trek if you click here     We look forward to seeing you in Nepal!
