This excavator is being used by HHC to relink Northern Dhading. The surrounding river needs to be diverted and once completed, this will allow all five northern VDCs to be linked to the District HQ so that relief and recovery work can be carried out, and communication and travel can resume.
Brother’s Brother Foundation also supported food relief for the villages of Tipling, Sherthung and Lapa for the month of July and has been a major supporter of our relief efforts since April.
HHC is working with the World Food Programme under its “Food Assistance for Assets” program to ensure 4,400 households in Tipling, Sherthung, Lapa, Jharlang and Ree Gau have access to food.
