All net proceeds from the handicraft sales are used to fund primary health care, medical and educational projects, giving to those involved in the production process a sense of pride that comes by helping and sustaining many others, in even greater need than themselves.
Successful 25th Anniversary Celebration in NYC

The celebration was held at Spring Street Natural, located at 98 Kenmare Street in New York City. Over 75 HHC alumni (volunteers) and their family as well other friends enjoyed an evening that was full of memories and reminiscing. Anil spoke about HHC's journey of 25 years and thanked everyone for their support and friendship. Towards the end Dr. Ashika Jain, BoD and HHC vice president, held an auction of Nepal projects which were very well received and embraced. HHC thanks everyone present at the event (many of whom flew or drove many hours to get to NYC) and those who sent checks along with regrets.
Support HHC's 'One Home One Toilet' Campaign in Remote Ruby Valley
Himalayan HealthCare continues to build permanent toilets in partnership with recipients in remote Ruby Valley Rural Municipality near the Ganesh Himal mountains where there were none. This has reduced the rate of diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid and many other fly-borne diseases thus preventing deaths of children, women and elders while also keeping the villages clean. We have built over 700 toilets serving over 3500 community members directly and tens of thousands indirectly. We need to help build 500 more. Every dollar counts.
